Such amazing views!

I absolutely loved this experience! The catamaran was easy to find, not very crowded, and I had plenty of space to relax. The weather was super pleasant, and I loved the views of the Barcelona coastline. I don't know who our onboard DJ was, but the music was so nice that I could easily fall asleep on the deck. This was way better than the original Barcelona boat party I planned to book.

Best experience in Barcelona!

My hubby and I booked the sunset cruise and had a great time onboard. We love everything that's focused on sustainability, and that's why we chose this tour. The staff was very friendly, and we met amazing people we're still in touch with. After going on a walking tour and seeing all the landmarks on foot, this Barcelona boat party was a perfect way to conclude the day of exploring!

DESCRIPTION

Barcelona Boat Tour

FOLLOW THE COLUMBUS

Start your journey at Port Vell, a busy waterfront area at the bottom of La Rambla Street. Follow the guidelines of the Christopher Columbus sculpture, which points to the open sea, and get your camera ready for breathtaking shots. Look carefully, as you might even spot some dolphins in the distance.

BARCELONA SKYLINE

As we set sail, you'll be greeted by views of the World Trade Center, where some of the world's largest yachts are docked. You'll spot beautiful Barcelona Beach and enjoy the views of Port Olympic, founded in 1991 for the Olympic Games. Keep an eye out for two of Barcelona's tallest buildings, Hotel Arts and Torre Mapfre. However, they won't hold that title for much longer, as the Sagrada Familia is nearing completion and will soon become the tallest building in Barcelona. During the boat tour, a bar will serve various drinks and snacks that are available for purchase. So even if you didn't bring any refreshments, we've got you covered.

CONTRIBUTING TO A GOOD CAUSE

Book our eco-friendly tour, become part of a greater mission, and have more than just good views surrounding you. A percentage of every ticket sold is donated to organizations dedicated to removing plastic from the ocean. So by booking this tour, you contribute to cleaning the Mediterranean Sea. The age of discovery

Are you familiar with Christopher Columbus's famous journeys? Well, it all started in 1492, after his first voyage to America. His return was greeted by Catholic Monarchs King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella, marking the beginning of Spain's colonial expansion. Throughout his life, he traveled across the sea four times.

A 60-meter-tall statue, built in his honor, is located at the bottom of La Rambla Street and was revealed in 1888 during the Universal Exposition held in Barcelona. Many people believe that his statue on top points towards America, when in fact, it points towards the Mediterranean Sea.

Did you know that there's an elevator inside the statue? This elevator takes you to the viewing platform at the top, from which you can see the panoramic views of the city, the port, and the Mediterranean Sea.

FAQ - Barcelona Boat Tour

Do I need to book a Barcelona Boat Tour in advance?

We highly recommend booking in advance if you're visiting during the high season. Sunset tours are especially popular and can sell out quickly. If you book ahead, you'll be guaranteed a spot on your preferred schedule.

What can you see on a boat tour in Barcelona?

On a boat tour along Barcelona's coastline, you'll see beautiful beaches and landmarks such as Port Vell, the World Trade Center, and Montjuic Hill. The tour will take you all the way to Port Olimpic, famous for its iconic towers. If you look very carefully, you can even spot the towers of Sagrada Familia from a distance.

Are the boat tours in Barcelona available year-round?

Yes, these activities are available year-round. During the offseason, catamarans have a closed area to protect you from cold and rain. However, the weather forecast can also impact the availability of the tour. We will reschedule or refund the tour costs if the weather is unfavorable for sailing.

What other tours in Barcelona should I book?

To truly experience Barcelona, start with something tasty and local — join one of the best food tours in Barcelona or a Barcelona wine tour to explore the city through its flavors. In the evening, treat yourself to a Flamenco Show in Barcelona for a memorable cultural night. For daytime sightseeing, don't miss the Montjuïc Cable Car Ticket for incredible views, a Ticket to Sagrada Familia to see the city’s most iconic landmark up close, or Casa Vicens Tickets to visit Gaudí’s first masterpiece. The best way to connect all these highlights with ease is to take the Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Barcelona, which stops at all major attractions. Add the Hola Barcelona Travel Pass if you're staying for a few days and want unlimited access to public transport. And if you're planning to visit multiple sights and want to save, the Barcelona City Pass is a smart choice.
