Easy and fast to book!

Moco in Barcelona is such a nice museum and worth a visit. The QR code for the audio guide was a great addition, as you can find incredible information about the artwork and the artists. It's definitely not a typical museum. My favorite part was the interactive display filled with mirrors and screens. I think I could stare at the moving colors for days!

Lovely art collection!

I absolutely adore the combination of historical and modern. Cervello Palace is so beautiful, and they made it even more interesting by opening a museum inside. I loved Banksy's street art and the funny little video displaying his pranks at the world-class museums. My kids also loved the experience and were especially amazed by NFT artwork.

Moco Museum Barcelona Tickets

IN ART WE TRUST

Moco Museum is a chain of contemporary art museums that focuses on modern, inspiring, and provocative works by famous artists and rising stars. After a great success in Amsterdam, the Moco Museum expanded to Barcelona in 2021. The main goal was to make contemporary art accessible to a wide audience.

CENTRAL LOCATION

The museum is located in the historic Palace Cervello-Giudice in the heart of the Gothic Quarter. This 16th-century palace was a residence for the elite, royals, and merchandise for centuries. The change started with the opening of the Picasso Museum next door. These medieval palaces now preserve cultural heritage and introduce new cultural life.

MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY ART

Visit a rich artwork collection, including pieces from renowned artists like Dali, Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Hayden Kays, Keith Haring, and many others. Don't miss Guillermo Lorca's new collection, “Splendor of the Night.” This young Chilean contemporary artist's mix of magic and realism amazed the world at his first European exhibition.

DIGITAL AND NFT ART

But that's not all! Contemporary museums are taking a step further by introducing new innovative digital art by teamLab, Les Fantomes, and Studio Irma. The exhibition concludes with the unlimited creative potential of NFT art. It includes artworks by Beeple, Pak, Six N. Five, Andres Reisinger, and others.

What is NFT art?

NFTs, known by their full name, Non-Fungible Tokens, represent a significant shift in the art world. Creativity is combined with technology, giving artworks that include pictures, animations, music, and interactive elements. Unlike traditional artworks, which are physical, NFT art exists only in digital mediums.

It represents a new way of creating and owning digital artwork using a special kind of technology called blockchain. Imagine you have a digital painting or a piece of digital music. Normally, these could be copied and shared easily, making it hard to prove who owns the original. With NFT, you'll get a verification of the ownership and be the only one to access the original.
