We booked the Sagrada Familia tickets for the whole family, and our visit was spectacular. The entrance was smooth and fast. We decided to come later in the afternoon and saw beautiful light coming from the colorful glass windows. It was so beautiful. I didn't know that you could also visit Gaudi's school as well with this ticket, so interesting! Definitely worth a visit!

CONSTRUCTION OF SAGRADA FAMILIA
The Sagrada Familia is a large unfinished Roman Catholic basilica in Barcelona, Spain, and one of the most famous works of the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi. Officially titled the 'Basílica de la Sagrada Familia,' its construction began in 1882. It was designed by Francisco de Paula del Villar, who resigned from the project in 1883. After his resignation, Gaudi took over and completely transformed the previous design with his unique style and vision.
SYMBOLISM OF TOWERS
The towers of the Sagrada Familia carry deep religious symbolism, integral to Gaudi's vision of the basilica as a "Bible in stone." Central Tower is dedicated to Jesus Christ and will be the tallest of all, reaching 172 meters, only a few meters shorter than the Montjuic Hill. Surrounding the main tower are four smaller towers dedicated to the Gospel authors - Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. The Tower of the Apse is dedicated to the Virgin Mary, while the other twelve towers are dedicated to the Apostles, the original followers of Christ.
